Where To Find The Muspelheim Realm Seed in God of War: Ragnarök

The Crucible from 2018’s God of War reboot has made a return to God of War: Ragnarok, but players will only be able to access this feature once they have found the Muspelheim Realm Seed. For those unfamiliar with the Crucible, it is an arena-like area where Kratos and Atreus trained to prepare themselves for the challenges and hardships they would face on their journeys. As for players, the Crucible served as an excellent location to practice combos and combat abilities on enemy targets. Moreover, it was also an excellent source of valuable rewards to unlock the strongest weapons and armor available.

Similar to the Dectus Medallion from Elden Ring, the Muspelheim Seed in God of War: Ragnarok has been separated into two halves. Accordingly, players must find both halves in order to gain access to the Crucible Realm. The first half of the Muspelheim Seed can be found in Svartalfheim, the dwarven Realm. More specifically, players must pay a visit to Modvitnir’s Rig, a landmark near The Watchtower south of the Bay of Bounty. Kratos and his companions will travel to Modvitnir’s Rig during the “In Service of Asgard,” a Favor tasking players with shutting down three rigs.

Muspelheim Seed Locations in God of War: Ragnarok

All players must do to get the first Muspelheim Seed Half in God of War: Ragnarok is to make their way to the top of Modvitnir’s Rig. Players will find a Legendary Chest containing the seed piece at the top of the rocky spires and wooden scaffolding. The second half of the Muspelheim Seed is moderately more tricky to obtain, as its location is only accessible after completing “Forging Destiny,” the tenth quest of God of War: Ragnarok‘s main storyline. During this quest, players will receive a special tool called the Draupnir Spear, which can be used to unlock access to new areas in the world.

According to YouTuber Astrosive, players can find the second half of the Muspelheim Seed in God of War: Ragnarok by traveling to Dragon Beach, a landmark directly south of Radsvinn’s Rig in Svartalfheim. After arrival, players must make their way up the wooden scaffolding near the Boat Dock and use the Draupnir Spear to get to the upper level with a giant statue of a dwarf. If fans turn near the statue, they will discover a trail leading to Alberich Hollow. Also, keep an eye out for a covered Legendary Treasure Chest along the road. To access it, use the Fire Bomb from a nearby brazier to destroy the outer debris and obtain the second Muspelheim Seed Half in God of War: Ragnarok.
