Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards was arrested on February 10 for allegedly violating a protective order he was granted when it was discovered he had been cheating on his wife Mackenzie Standifer. Police found cocaine in Edwards’ hands when they searched him.
The Hamilton County Sheriff asked him to leave the home near Harrison Bay State Park, where he lived before his arrest. Standifer filed a complaint alleging that Ryan Edwards also had contact with her father, Bob, which Ryan was not authorized to. Following his arrest, the sheriff’s office said in a statement to the newspaper that Edwards violated the Order of Protection by contacting Mackenzie’s father and threatening to remove his belongings from Standifer’s home. The statement continued, saying:
“While investigating the violation of the Protection Order, HCSO investigators discovered that Ryan had an active harassment arrest warrant issued by the Chattanooga Police Department. In that event, Mackenzie was considered the victim. The subpoena was issued on February 8, 2023.”
