When facing 5+ Star Tera Raid Battles Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the player must ensure he has a strategy to defeat the opponent at hand. That’s because game makers won’t easily win these battles. The designer gave the Pokémon in Tera’s Lair a unique, but capable, type of the original. Having said that, players must base their strategy on the same type of attack bonus, also known as STAB. Of all the types of Pokémon, the Fairy is the strongest when it comes to Tera Raids. With Sylveon’s high attack stats, it’s natural to use this Pokémon in raids.
After achieving a high level of friendship, Sylveon can evolve from Eevee by teaching Eevee faerie moves. Sylveon is a Fairy-type Pokémon with a BST score of 525. Note that BST refers to the total of the Pokémon’s base stats. Sylveon is weak against Poison and Steel-type attacks, but it is resistant to Bug, Shadow, and Battle-type Pokémon. Also, Sylveon is immune to dragon abilities. Sylveon’s basic attacks include Cute Charm and Pixelate. When the opponent is in physical contact with the player, the cute charm has a 30% chance of making the opponent become obsessed with the Pokémon. Pixilate changes normal move type to fairy type attack after increasing damage by 20%.
Sylveon’s Best Tera Raid Build
Sylveon’s Best Tera Raid Build requires this Pokémon to be Terastallized. This is because Terastallized Pokémon gain STAB on moves that match their Tera Type and moves that match the type they originally had. This means that Terastallized Sylveon’s Tera-type moves will receive a double damage bonus, while their original type’s weakness will be removed. After Sylveon has been raised by the Fairy Tera Type, there are two recommended builds when participating in these Tera 5+ Star Raids. These builds are based on the following action sets: Moonblast and Hyper Voice.
Pixilate is not required when using Moonblast mobile. Therefore, the only ability that Silvin needed was cuteness. Other actions that fall under this ability include Kissing, Yawning, and Helping Hands. Players should also use special mints to transform their Pokémon into humble natures. The Metronome project is basically used to spam Moonblast. Once on the battlefield, yawn as soon as possible, this will help the opponent fall asleep. Next, spam Moonblast during the fight.
Hyper Voice only requires the Pixilate ability. The moves are as follows: Hyper Voice, Misty Terrain, Shadow Ball and Fake Tears. Similar to Moonblast, Metronome will also be a holding item. Start a Tera Raid with fake tears; this will reduce the opponent’s special defense. The foggy terrain can also be used to prepare the battlefield. After using any of these moves, the player will use Hyper Voice to engage the opposing Pokémon until the battle is over. Note that if the opponent’s Pokémon is weak against ghost-type attacks, Shadow should be used in battle.
Sylveon is not only a unique choice against Tera Raids, but also a smart choice. This is because Fairy-type Pokémon are not as popular as other types of Pokémon. As a result, this Pokémon is not used very often, which means that the Cactus most likely has many weaknesses compared to other Pokémon in the player’s inventory. By participating in Tera Raid Battles with Sylveon, the player will have the opportunity to improve the possible weaknesses of the Pokémon. This will make for a better Sylveon Tera Raid build Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
