Mr. Beast Stated That He Is Getting Annoyed With The People Who Copied His Content

Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast on YouTube, believes his “imitaters” are “losing control”. The creator responded to a tweet by a fan, Louis-Philippe Papineau, who expressed his frustration with people taking such measures to copy the YouTuber’s work. The 24-year-old inventor responded to the tweet and agreed with Louis that copying was out of control. Jimmy is known for his lavish, big-budget music videos. He has previously said that each of his films requires months of preparation to be successful.

However, with more than 100 million followers on YouTube, this inventor is often imitated by other manufacturers. Morgz, a British YouTuber, is one of the most notorious alleged MrBeast impostors. In 2018, fans and followers of the latter accused the former of openly stealing his ideas and images, leading to a rivalry between the two.

The dispute between MrBeast and Morgz

In August 2018, viewers discovered uncanny similarities between the MrBeast and Morgz videos. Jimmy posted a video titled “Can 1000 rolls of duct tape stop a car?” in April 2018. In August of the same year, Morgz posted a video titled “Can 1000 layers of duct tape stop a car from hitting me?” Jimmy confirmed the similarity in a deleted tweet. Morgz was quick to respond with screenshots of YouTubers who made an identical video years ago both of them, saying there were others who had done it first. Jimmy responded with a video in which he said he has no grudge against the British YouTuber. However, Jimmy asked Morgz to change the material when making movies based on his model.

Morgz immediately replied that he also didn’t want conflict between the two. He also said that the subject matter in his video is significantly different from Jimmy’s. Jimmy deleted his first tweet in response to Morgz’s comment, addressing the debate. Days after their Twitter feud, @BradHeat reported that Morgz had banned the term MrBeast from his account. They published:

“So I did a search… And it turned out that Morgz had blacklisted the term “MrBeast” so that no one could call him out. He was well aware of his actions. “

After one of his challenges went viral on November 26, Jimmy tweeted: “What if I invite all the people to join and compete for money?” However, not all of his admirers support the idea, and some say that Morgz does not need “extra attention”.

Then, in March 2019, a Twitter user uploaded images highlighting similarities between the two artists’ video thumbnails. However, Jimmy’s answer is one that his fans love, as he says that imitation is “the highest form of flattery”. FaZe founder Banks saw the reaction and said that Jimmy was “too cute”, to which Jimmy replied:

“Yes, but not all of my actions are unique. Many people imitate me every day, but it would be hypocritical of me to be angry with them.”

Within a week, his answer earned more than 15,000 likes. Many YouTube channels have discussed the similarities in content between the two producers.
