Love Is Blind‘s Bartise Bowden, who is one of season 3’s most controversial stars, has teased fans with a clip of him appearing in an upcoming music video. Viewers named Bartise the biggest villain of his season, mostly as a result of the many shocking comments he made to and about his ex-fiance, Nancy Rodriguez. Immediately after the show’s couples first saw the entire engaged cast in person, Bartise made clear that Pilates instructor Raven Ross was much more his type physically. In a confessional, Bartise called Raven a “smoke show,” all while he was engaged to Nancy.
Nancy and Bartise have gone their separate ways since he said “I do not,” on their wedding episode of Love Is Blind. Bartise teased his latest venture in a post to his Instagram story. The video depicts Bartise dancing intimately with a singer tagged in his post as self-proclaimed singer/songwriter Paulyae. She appears to be an up-and-coming R&B artist who released an album in July 2022 titled The Feeling. Bartise captioned the video “So proud of this already… Feb 4th stay tuned.” Bartise will likely continue posting updates for fans with more details about his role in the video.
Bartise Has Been Linked To Multiple Women Since Breakup With Nancy

In one portion of the clip, Bartise and Paulyae are shown hugging, with her leg fully wrapped around him. Bartise has been criticized for his shady behavior, both during Love Is Blind’s filming and in the time since. During the show’s reunion, Nancy accused Bartise of hooking up with a “blonde girl“ just a few days after the filming of their wedding ceremony. Fans believe Bartise never intended to continue his relationship with Nancy, and he followed through with the show only to boost his own popularity and influence on social media. His “guest appearance” in this video is evidence that he’s taking full advantage of his newfound stardom.
Bartise’s comments to Nancy about other women were very shocking to viewers. Although Bartise said he was embarrassed by his actions, Nancy was likely more humiliated after the filming. In one scene, after the couple was already living together, Bartise said Raven was “the typical girl I would go after in the real world. She came down, she’s wearing tight clothes, I was like she’s a f****** smoke show. She’s hot as s***.” This statement was made as he sat in bed with his fiance. Nancy didn’t have a huge reaction to Bartise’s comment but made her hurt feelings known in confessional after taking time to process what he’d said.
Even now, months after the last episode of Love Is Blind season 3 aired, Bartise continues to receive comments on all of his social media posts berating him for his treatment of Nancy. After two highly successful seasons of the show, fans are calling season 3 a letdown, as many of the couples on the show simply didn’t appear to be good matches. While it is unclear if his music video collaboration is meant to serve as an announcement of a romantic relationship with Paulyae, Bartise’s presence will certainly be polarizing for fans. But, for emerging artists, sometimes any publicity can be good publicity.
