Julia Holcomb met Steven Tyler at a concert in Portland, Oregon, shortly after her 16th birthday in November 1973. But one tragedy after another struck her family, and that’s what she believes led her to an Aerosmith concert. behind the scenes. I was listening to the song Dream On and I saw Steven’s picture on the album cover, I went to the concert hoping to meet Steven and after the concert we met for the first time. So I thought it was the best of my life. My sad and vulnerable story, as well as my youth and personal attractiveness, caught his interest.”
Julia’s mother then assigned custody of her to Steven after she moved to Boston. She added: “I remember my surprise when Steven told me that he had signed the papers and that he was trying to understand it. I felt vulnerable, knowing that I was his ward, but we weren’t married. He has not expressed his intentions about a long-term relationship with me.”
Julia told Steven that his mother would never leave him with him. She allegedly told him, “I told him I need you to go to school.”
When they started living together, she took birth control pills. They had a planned pregnancy. Julia described Steven as: “He grew up in rural New Hampshire and sometimes acted like a down-to-earth farmer. He wanted a family and he asked me if I was willing to have a child with him.”

Julia explained: “I couldn’t believe he was even asking me to have an abortion at this stage. He spent over an hour pressuring me to have an abortion. She said that I was too young to have a child and that she would have brain damage because I was in a fire and high.”
Additionally, in 2022, Julia sued the Aerosmith frontman for sexual assault, sexual assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He assured me that he cared about me and that everything would be fine after the abortion.”
Julia and Steven’s baby was never born because she ended up going through the procedure. She said: “It was a horrible nightmare that I will never forget. He was traumatized by the experience. My baby had an advocate in life; I too succumbed to the pressure for fear of rejection and an unknown future. I wish I could go back and have that chance again, to say no to abortion one last time. I wish with all my heart I could have watched that boy live his life and become a man.”
But Julia believed that it must also have been traumatizing for Steven to see his firstborn son in such a horrible and direct way. He watched the baby come out and then told Julia that he had been born alive and had been released to die. Julia was not allowed to see the boy’s face.
