John Henson Will Be Featured As The Host Of The “Halloween Baking Championship”

Season 8 of the Halloween Baking Championship will be hosted by comedian John Henson. The show begins on Food Network on Monday, September 12 at 8/9. 12 bakers will compete in the upcoming season to survive an impressive stay at the Henson Hotel and earn $25,000. John Henson, host of the Halloween Baking Championship, started his career as a comedian at the age of 20.

John Henson, host of Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship, is a comedian. He has worked in the entertainment industry for nearly 20 years as an actor, presenter, producer and writer. Henson, born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1967, studied acting in New York at Boston University, Circle in the Square, Playwrights Horizons and Three of Us Studios. At the age of 8, the TV presenter began to engage in acting, and at the same time tried his hand at singing and dancing. He is nicknamed Skunk Boy and Johnny Boy because of a white mole on the right side of his head.

He started acting in improv comedy while attending Boston University. He dropped out of college at the age of 20 to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian full-time. He began traveling around the country before becoming known to audiences and critics alike as the host, writer, and co-executive producer of E! Talk Soup by Entertainment. According to his official online profile, John has amassed a large following and received three Emmy Award nominations.

Henson began directing films in the mid to late 1990s. He also co-hosted and produced Spike TV’s John Henson Project, ABC’s Wipeout, and TV Guide Network’s Watch This. He has also appeared on FX’s Anger Management and NBC’s My Name Is Earl, as well as hosting truTV’s funniest commercials. He also appeared as a guest host on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

The actor has appeared in many plays, including Inappropriate Behavior, Heinous Crime and Other Pleasures, The Greenhouse Effect, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and Remote Evolution. In October 2016, Henson appeared as a celebrity guest on Food Network’s show Worst Chefs in America: Celebrities. He made it to the semi-finals and won a donation to a children’s organization that he and his wife Jill support. Henson currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, a son and a daughter. Henson’s mother died after a five-week illness before his wedding to Jill.

The Halloween Baking Championship will launch on Monday, with bakers “creating killer cakes, creepy cupcakes and more to show off their skills in contests that pay homage to classic horror movies.” Carla Hall, Stephanie Boswell and Zac Young, judges, “will decide which devilish sweet will win $25,000 and the title of Halloween Baking Champion!” The 12 bakers who will spend eight weeks in a haunted hotel competing in various baking competitions are:

The winner will earn a tour of the ten most haunted hotels in America. Henson will host the eighth season of the Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship on Monday. The show is also available on Disney+.
