IVE’s Wonyoung was embroiled in controversy when netizens discovered the group’s previous live broadcast. On September 26 KST, a community member posted a series of photos from a previous VLive show featuring Leeseo, Yujin, and Wonyoung. While all three were a resounding success with DIVE, who admired their connection, there was one particular moment that divided netizens. The situation in question was when an idol commented that Leese’s outfit looked exactly like the one she wore at a music photo shoot not too long ago.
According to the screenshots of the broadcast, Wonyoung asked Leeseo if she bought clothes. The latter said that the clothes belonged to “Rei unnie”. Wonyoung then reached out to check the labels on the clothes. Both she and Yujin confirmed that Leeseo was not wearing the same clothes at the end of the incident. Although many people are annoyed by her looks, followers of the teen K-pop idol have supported her online.

Wonyoung started her career at the age of 13 with Produce 48, an MNET survival show. She then debuted with IZONE, a short-lived K-pop group that disbanded after a few years.
The female idol’s stage presence, sophisticated style and fashion sense made her the center of attention during her debut with IVE. She has sponsored various brands and was recently present at Fashion Week in Paris as an ambassador for high-end jewelry company FRED.
