Perhaps the most infamous spell in the entire Harry Potter franchise is the most dangerous and wicked of the Unforgivable Curses: the Avada Kedavra. Hogwarts Legacy Don’t be afraid to let your custom apprentice learn these Unforgivable Curses, along with the dozens of other spells in the game, including the curse that will eventually be used so frequently by the Dark Lord himself.
Just like in the source material, Avada Kedavra is an instant kill attack, which will naturally be an immensely powerful tool in your spellbook. However, since it is such a dangerous curse, you will not pick it up in your normal learning. If you’re willing to live with the consequences of casting this unforgivable curse, here’s how to learn Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy. Of course, there is no real moral system in the game, so any damage to your soul will only happen in real life.
How to Learn Avada Kedavra
Avada Kedavra is the last of the Unforgivable Curses you can learn Hogwarts Legacy. Like the others, you’ll unlock it by progressing through the Sebastian Sallows Connection quest chain. If you haven’t been following them, you’ll need to complete all previous parts of your quest first, including “In the Shadow of Hope” as well as the main quest called “Lodgok’s Allegiance”. Once those requirements are met, you will unlock the one called “In the Shadow of the Relic”. This is a level 28 quest, so make sure you’ve progressed correctly before accepting it.
Complete the quest as normal until you talk to Sebastion outside the dungeon and get two dialogue options. If you want to learn a curse, you should naturally choose the sentence: “Everyone should know that curse.” In case you’re cold, Sebastian will give you one last chance to retreat. As long as you’re sure, choose “Yes Please” to learn the curse.
Note that there are no in-game consequences for using Avada Kedavra, or any other Unforgivable Curse, on Hogwarts Legacy. Other characters can comment on it, but it won’t have any real impact.
