The Voice returns to television screens this week with a new season featuring two new mentors. Chance the Rapper and Naill Horan are new mentors on NBC’s talent show, along with Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson. The 29-year-old American hip-hop musician was born in Chicago, Illinois. The premiere season 23 of The Voice will air on NBC on Monday, March 6, at 8:00 PM ET.

Season 23 of The Voice will feature rapper Chance as a new mentor.
Chance the Rapper, an American hip-hop musician, will join the jury in the new season of NBC’s talent show, starting in 2011. Prime Minister Jonathan Bennet was born in Chicago in 1993, the son of Lisa. Bennet and Ken Williams-Bennett. While his mother was the attorney general of Illinois, his father served as an aide to Senator Barack Obama. The future cast of The Voice met President Barack Obama as a teenager because his father served in the Department of Labor during Obama’s first term.
Chance made his first mixtape in 2011, after being kicked out of high school for using marijuana. Complex magazine named him one of ten Chicago’s rising singers worth watching. The following year, on April 3, 2012, he released his album. The Voice teacher season 23 was on Childish Gambino’s album, and he asked him to perform for him on his first North American tour. Chance Acid Rap, the rapper’s third EP, debuted at number 26 on the Heatseekers chart and number 63 on the US R&B and Hip Hop charts in 2013.
It was nominated for Best Album at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards in the same year. It has also been featured on several lists, including Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and many others. Chance was nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Original Score and Lyrics for his performance on Saturday Night Live in 2017. In 2014, the artist was awarded the Outstanding Child of the Year award in Chicago. He received the honor for his efforts to help children by hosting a number of nights open to high school students in partnership with the Chicago Public Library. Chance the Rapper donated $1 million to the Chicago Public Schools in 2017. His efforts to help the most vulnerable members of society earned him the Humanitarian Award of UNICEF Chicago at the organization’s 2020 annual party. Former One Direction band and singer Niall Horan will be among the new mentors to join him on The Voice. Starting Monday, March 6, the two will join Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton for the season.
