A stunning NASA image hides a small Mars helicopter in plain sight. Not everyone can see it, right?

A NEW image from NASA has prompted users to try to spot the space agency’s tiny Mars helicopter.

CNET labeled the photo an optical illusion because the helicopter appears to be hidden in plain sight.

In the image, NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter blends seamlessly into the Martian surface of land, dunes and debris.

The scene shows the rocky part of the lake, a crater on Mars in the Syrtis Major quadrangle.

Also easily seen are the tracks of NASA’s Perseverance rover in the lower left corner of the photo.

Perseverance captured the photo on January 8 using one of the many cameras set up.

The rover, which has been on Mars since February 2021, has just completed its 38th flight.

a twitter user He called the shot of Ingenuity the closest representation we’ve seen in “quite a while.”

Ingenuity

Affectionately known as NASA’s Mars Helicopter, Ingenuity stands approximately 19 inches tall and weighs four pounds.

The instrument was also sent to Mars in February 2021 while hitchhiking with Perseverance.

Its main purpose is to demonstrate controlled test flights on another world.

Perseverance, on the other hand, is the search for past life on Mars and the collection of soil and rock samples for study on Earth.

The rover will also help prepare for future human exploration, NASA said.

Perseverance recently deposited its first sample of Martian rocks on the surface of Mars.

The titanium tube is currently on the surface of the Red Planet after being placed there on December 21, according to NASA.

Over the next two months, the rover will deposit 10 tubes at the same location, dubbed “Three Forks.”

This is the construction of the first human sample repository on another planet.
