The cougar decided to hide
The stunning nature photograph was taken in Patagonia, Chile, last May.
A wildlife photographer created a “cougar sighting” challenge to test tour guides’ ability to spot cougars camouflaged in the wild.
Greg Harvey, 51, had a hard time seeing the elusive pumas blend seamlessly into their surroundings, but was impressed to find that the guides were often able to spot them.
So he put together a series of fiendishly difficult images with three levels, easy, medium, and hard, to test how eagle-like they really are.
Can you spot the hidden cougar?
