A photo of a cute feline has gone viral online after netizens noticed something doesn’t look quite right in the image.

In June 2021, the image was uploaded to the Reddit community board r/confusing_perspective.
The post was titled, “There’s something wrong with that shadow.”
In the image, a white and brown cat is seen sitting on a marbled floor looking off in one direction.
From afar, the cat appears to have a long black shadow stretching across the floor.
However, as one looks closer, there appears to be something fuzzy going on.
Those with a keen eye may notice that the cat’s shadow is much lighter and shorter than appears.
Instead, stretched on the floor appears to be another cat.
Those who can spot the cat within just a few seconds, may have the eyes of a hawk.
Looking closely at the photo, one can see the black cat’s pointed ears and fluffy tail pointing up.
Also, its small little paws can also be seen stretched far.
Several Reddit users were shocked by the brain teaser, with some saying it took them “too long” to figure out there were two cats in the image.
“NGL, I for real thought that was a shadow at first before realizing it was another cat,” one person wrote.
“Well that took me far too long,” another said.
“Bruh i thout those were his ears! Good one!” a third posted while a fourth chimed in saying, “Ha i was like yeah there is something wrong with that shadow. Zoomed in and now i feel dumb.”
