Next Level Chef, one of Gordon Ramsay’s successful reality television cooking competition shows, features him as a producer and executive coach. Season 2 of the show is ready to begin, introducing fans to 13 new chefs. In Next Level Chef season 2, 13 outstanding chefs will compete to impress Gordon Ramsay and two other culinary masters. They will be put to the final test in a three-story kitchen, where they will be asked to show off their mettle.
NFL veteran and Emmy Award winner Mark McMillian was one of the chefs on Season 2 of The Next Level Chef. Mark received the coveted Emmy Award in October 1995 for starring on Randall Cunningham’s Monthly Pregnancy Show. He was the defensive linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. Although he has 8 years of experience in athletics, he only has 3 years of experience as a chef.
The official summary of Next Level Chef Season 2 is as follows:

Season 2 contestant of Next Level Chef Mark won the high school sprint title.
The former NFL back-to-back chef turned chef was a high school sprint champion. He began two years of study at Glendale Junior College in California. His stellar performance earned him fame and the opportunity to play for the University of Alabama under the renowned coach Gene Stallings. Mark still holds the Alabama record for the longest intercept in school history. According to his official website:
“Mark was selected in the 10th round by the Philadelphia Eagles and won critical acclaim as a rookie when he was named to the coveted All-Madden Team.”
It continued:
“McMillian had some of his most recognized achievements as a full-back with the Kansas City Captain under coach Marty Schottenheimer after a brief stint as the New Orleans Saint. The 5-foot-7 McMillian was nicknamed “Mighty Mouse” by teammates and fans in 1997 after going through a spectacular season with 8 interceptions (tie for NFL lead) and 3 touches defensive ball (longest 87 yards). .”
Mark also set a Heads club record with 274 returns. He currently lives in Los Angeles and works with a number of organizations to improve the lives of children and young people.
