Tonnesen was born on July 13, 2000, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Prior to landing his first series regular role as Oliver on the fantasy series “Tidsrejsen,” he quickly grabbed film roles in “Player” (2013) and “Department Q: The Keeper of Lost Causes” (2013).

Career
In 2012, Lynggaard Tonnesen made his television debut as Buster in the Danish series Cirkus Summarum.
He portrayed Lasse som Barn in The Keeper of Lost Causes and Phillip in the comedy Player in 2013. Lynggaard Tonnesen had six appearances in the Danish television series Tidsrejsen in 2014.
In the Netflix web series The Rain, Lucas makes his main-character debut in the year 2018 as Rasmus Andersen. In May 2019, the second season of the show debuted.
