11th Jagran Film Festival
Jagran Film Festival 2023: The 11th Largest Travel Film Festival in the World, Jagran Film Festival, is organized to commemorate the invaluable contributions of some of the late legends of Indian cinema: Queen of Melodies, the late Mangeshkar; famous actor and director Satish Kaushik; famous actor Vikram Gokhale; and acclaimed director K Vishwanath. Starting on 3 August 2023 at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi, the Festival aims to celebrate and celebrate some of cinema’s finest talents, both past and present.
The 11th Jagran Film Festival honors legendary figures
As every year, the festival strives to honor the unforgettable work of these legendary figures, who have left an indelible mark on the Indian film industry and continue to inspire generations of filmmakers and artists. The festival will honor the evergreen actor, writer and director Satish Kaushik, with a screening of the critically acclaimed “Kaagaz” on August 4, 2023. Renowned film producer and close associate of the late Satish Kaushik, Mr. Boney Kapoor, will chat with film critic Komal Naht. During the screening, Mr. Kapoor will share his insights and memories from working with the respected artist. The film Kaagaz is a touching story that has touched hearts across the country.
Continuing to pay tribute on August 5, 2023, the festival will celebrate Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, by showing one of her most memorable cinematic masterpieces, “Lamha”. The event will be embellished by the presence of Aadinath Mangeshkar, (nephew of the late Lata Ji), a member of the Mangeshkar family, in conversation with renowned Hindi poet, music and film scholar, Yatindra Mishra. Together, the duo will share anecdotes about the life and art of the legendary singer. Film Lam Ha is a musical love story that combines romantic, dramatic and musical elements. Featuring soulful tunes and mesmerizing performances by the main actors, Sridevi and Anil Kapoor.

Jagran Film Festival presents a series of screenings, panel discussions and workshops
JFF promises to be a big event, with a series of film screenings, panel discussions and workshops celebrating the extraordinary careers of industry leaders like Vikram Gokhale and K Vishwanath. These outstanding people have left a lasting legacy in the world of cinema and continue to inspire emerging artists and filmmakers. The festival starts from Delhi to Mumbai and goes to many places in between including Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Dehradun, Hisar, Gurgaon, Ludhiana, Patna, Darbhanga, Ranchi, Raipur, Indore and Siliguri.
