Terry Hall, the famous musician and member of the group The Specials, died on December 19 at the age of 63. The artist died of an undiagnosed illness. The band revealed the sad news on Twitter by posting a picture of him and calling him one of the best artists born in the country, as well as the best husband and father, adding:
“His songs and performances express the essence of life… joy, anguish, humor, the struggle for justice, but most importantly, love.”
In another message, the band asked fans and the media to respect the family’s privacy. The singer is known for his collaborations with celebrities in the music business such as Stephen Duffy, Gorillaz, Tricky, Leila Arab, Nouvelle Vague and others.

Terry Hall is a member of several bands other than The Specials
Terence Edward Hall, born March 19, 1959, joined The Specials in 1977. The musician is still a member of the band’s many successful albums. Hall later formed Fun Boy Three with Lynval Golding of The Specials and Neville Staple. The Fun Boy Three and Waiting are two albums by the band, released over three years. They also released four compilation albums, followed by nine singles, including Really Say Something, Summertime, Our Lips Are Sealed, and others.
The artist formed a new band, The Colourfield, which ran from 1984 to 1987. Toby Lyons, Karl Shale and Gary Dwyer were the other members. Virgins and Philistines was their debut album, released in April 1985, followed by Deception in March 1987. Colourfield also released an EP and two compilation CDs in January 1986. They are known for hits like Thinking of You, Yours Sincerely, Running Away, Her and others.
Terry Hall then formed a trio called Terry, Blair & Anouchka in 1989. They released one album in 1990, followed by two singles in 1989 and 1990, Missing and Ultra Modern Nursery Rhyme. He founded the Vegas complex, which became famous with their self-titled debut album, which included songs like Possession, Her, and Going Into the Wind.
He tried out a solo career after being a member of various bands. Home, his first studio album, topped the UK Albums Chart. His last album, Laughs, was released in 1997 and peaked at number 50 in the UK Albums Chart. Hall continued to perform on various occasions and guest-star on major albums by other artists.
