The second season of Lover will be on Netflix next month. The first season of the TV series, based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire, was created by Jim Mickle, who will also return for season 2. The first season of the epic is released by Netflix on the 4th of May. 6 in 2021 and revived for a second season a month later. Season 2 of Sweet Tooth is yet to air and fans can’t wait to see what awaits them. The second season team features a number of recurring performers, including Nonso Anozie as Tommy Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr Aditya Singh and Christian Convery as Gus. Fans are currently expecting the release of the second episode of the series, which will air on Netflix on April 27, 2023.

The second season of Sweet Appetite will have eight segments.
The series’ social media accounts wrote: while sharing updates on the upcoming season along with some early photos:
“All mix, please. We are back! Season 2 of Sweet Appetite will be released exclusively on Netflix on April 27.”
The first part ends with the last of Gus holding Gus in a herd of abandoned animals. The Last Men is a militia organization led by the evil General Abbot (Neil Sandilands). Gus (Christian Convery) decides to join Dr. Singh in Season 2 to protect his friends, “starting a dark journey at the beginning of his career and his mother’s involvement as a Birdie (Amy Seimetz) in the events leading up to the Great Collapse.”
Truth be told, the next season, like the first, will feature eight segments, all of which are slated to be released on the same day. The following is a summary of the upcoming season, as shared by the OTT giant:
“As a deadly new wave of Infected barrels, Gus and a group of hybrid friends are held captive by General Abbot (Neil Sandilands) and the Last Men. The abbot uses the children to document the trials of inmate Dr. Aditya Singh, who rushes to save his ailing wife Rani (Aliza Vellani) to ensure control.
In addition to the aforementioned repertoire, the Sweet Appetite season 2 choir also includes:
- Naledi Murray as Wendy
- Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. like Teddy Turtle
- Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear
- Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbott
- Yonas Kibreab as Finnish Fox
Meanwhile, two-time Golden Globe winner James Brolin will serve as the show’s narrator. From January to May 2022, the second season team established facilities in Warkworth and Auckland, New Zealand. The only filming location of the first season was also in the country.
