Bachelor Nation star Susie Evans recently opened up about her love life following her split from The Bachelor’s Clayton Echard. During an appearance on Us Weekly’s Here for the Right Reasons podcast, the reality star admitted to leaving Echard, but also said she wouldn’t be on Bachelor in Paradise.
Susie says she finds it amusing to witness all kinds of beach sex. While she initially said it was a great way to meet people, her time on Bachelor and watching the eighth season of Bachelor in Paradise convinced her otherwise.
Susie says:
“It’s amazing that you can feel everything. But after being on the show this season, I realized, ‘This is exactly my nightmare.’ You’re on the beach, you’re wearing a bikini, and you think, ‘No thanks [to being] in front of the camera in a bathing suit.’”

Susie also says she has great techniques for dealing with the “temptations” the show presents on a daily basis. However, she did not want to freely apply for the same. The bachelor contestant also admitted that she is focusing on herself right now. Susie Evans was introduced to viewers on the season of The Bachelor (Season 26) of Clayton Echard. Despite the fact that their love ended tragically in the movie, the couple admitted that they became close again in the reunion group. However, the former couple announced their divorce in September 2022.
In the podcast, she says:
“I’m completely focused on myself right now.” I have put a lot of effort and time into my relationship and I care a lot about Clayton, who I believe is also going through a lot of hardship. So I’m extremely pleased that I can now focus on myself.”
Susie also admitted that she’s ready to date. The celebrity continued:
“I am totally interested in dating. Yesterday I was offered a date and immediately I started sweating and thinking, ‘I don’t know if I can do this’. Not because I’m not ready, but because dating is scary.”
The Bachelor Nation star also admitted that she broke up with Clayton due to compatibility issues. She pointed out that the couple could not agree on what they wanted from their partner or from themselves, which led to their decision to divorce.

On the other hand, Susie said she wouldn’t change anything about her time on the ABC dating show. When asked if she would like to date in Bachelor Nation, Susie replied:
“So I’m going to have to make sure I really, really, really like the person before I even consider going on a first date, because I believe it becomes problematic when people want to talk about that.”
She revealed that she has big plans for the future, including becoming a documentary filmmaker, and is looking for a partner who can help her achieve that goal. The bachelor’s candidate also wants a lifestyle where she can “have great adventures and meet great people.”
“I need someone who wants to see me succeed and wants to be my fan, my biggest cheerleader and support me mentally because that’s a big ambition.”
Despite her reservations after watching her part, she thanked the dating show for allowing her to meet some lovely women and pay tribute to them. Susie also informed US Weekly that she had lost contact with Clayton. However, she describes receiving a pleasant letter from her ex-boyfriend about a month ago, saying he appreciates their relationship and the friendship they experienced while together. together.
