She is demanding footage of her rehearsals with the professional dancer Giovanni following clashes between the pair.

The Sherlock star quit the show in October citing medical reasons.

She believes the hours of their practice tapes could support her claims about the pro dancer’s alleged behaviour towards her.

Giovanni appeared to ignore the claims against him as he posted pictures of him with his dance students.

He said: “250 people. This is how we spend our Sunday. Love you all.”

The Sun reported that the BBC will not launch a probe into the Strictly pro – despite a string of concerns.

Bosses have pledged to stand by Giovanni despite bullying accusations mounting against him.

At least one other star, GMB’s Ranvir Singh, also complained about the Italian, while former Steps singer Faye Tozer is understood to have clashed with him.

TV personality Richie Anderson unfollowed his former dance partner on Instagram, while ex-Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore previously said she was “broken” by her time with him.

However, another former partner of Giovanni’s – Debbie McGee – came out in support of him in the wake of accusations.

Sharing a smiley photograph with the Italian dancer on Instagram, she wrote: “Happy memories. Giovanni and I had the best of times on Strictly.”

Under fire Gio responded: “Love you … thank you [love heart emojis].”

The Sun today revealed that BBC bosses arranged a call between show execs and Giovanni’s management where they offered him their full support — and checked on his mental welfare.

Giovanni, 33, is understood to have been assured of his place on the Saturday night show.
