YouTuber PewDiePie, Felix Kjellberg, recently announced on social media that he and his wife Marzia Kjellberg are expecting their first child. The Internet sensation also uploaded a video titled “We’re having a baby” to her 111 million YouTube followers. In the film, the couple can be seen taking four positive pregnancy tests, seeing an ultrasound image of their baby, and charting their path to motherhood through Marzia’s growing belly. PewDiePie was spotted updating his followers by saying:
“I’m hiding something from you. And the reason is because I’m going to be a father!”
He says they first found out about Marzia’s pregnancy in November 2022. The YouTuber said he’s “grateful” that “everything is going well.” PewDiePie and Marzia met in 2011 and got married in 2019 after eight years together. They have been married for four years and together for over a decade.

Marzia and PewDiePie first met in 2011 after a friend of Marzia suggested she watch the YouTube video Idiot Playing Video Games. Marzia approached the content producer after she was satisfied with his films and the two chatted via Facebook. They met in person when Felix went to Italy to meet Marzia. They are said to have started dating soon after and spent most of 2012 in Sweden and Italy before taking a flight to Los Angeles. Marzia soon began starring in Felix’s videos while also developing a lucrative YouTube career of her own. In 2018, the couple got engaged. Felix apparently proposed during their trip to Japan, and posted it with the headline “She says she’ll think about it.” Marzia also shared the news, saying: “He proposed.” In August 2019, the couple got married in a small wedding ceremony in Kew Gardens, London. Their wedding is said to have taken place on the same day they met 8 years ago. Four years after their wedding, the couple is expecting their first child.
