The clever image was shared on TikTok by the Bright Side channel, with a strong explanation that some people see the core of an apple, while others see the profiles of two people.
“If it’s an apple to you, you take things as they are and you’re pretty happy with what you have in life,” they said.

But if you viewed the profiles first, then relationships are your top priority.

People in the comments section of the video were largely divided on what they saw first, with some insisting they saw an apple being eaten, while profiles skipped others.
The illusion is a version of the famous Rubin Vase illusion, developed by the Danish psychologist Edgar Rubin around 1915.
In his illusion, the central image is a vase, not an apple core, while there are two profiles on each side.
