Maryam Henderson-Uloho was one of the “heroes” of season 7 of Netflix’s Queer Eye. She helped her individual “Five of Hers” turn her life from zero to one hundred.
A cultural expert, Karamo Brown, helped Maryam reconnect with her family. For that, he gave the heroine an old photo album that reminded her of herself before going to prison. He then forced her to read the last letter from her that her eldest son sent him before he died while she was still in prison. Maryam Henderson-Uloho has six children: Augustine Jr, David, Lucky, Prince, Greg, and Austin O. Uloho.

Maryam Henderson-Uloho is the CEO of SisterHearts, Inc. She founded the company in February 2014 using the concept of a thrift store to help returning citizens transition into society. SisterHearts had two locations to assist in the rehumanization process for people who were dehumanized, demoralized, and desensitized as a result of incarceration.
Her second thrift store, SisterHearts Thrifty Collectables, opened in June 2014.
Furthermore, Maryam is also the founder of Uloho Investments LLC.
“Uloho Investments was started in a period of my life when nothing was important to me except making another dollar. Under the umbrella of this company, I developed Sisterhearts Transitional Housing for female ex-offenders. I run this business selling things on the street.” Maryam explained
