Jake Bobo is a wide receiver for the UCLA Bruins and is the son of Casey and Mike Bobo. Mike and Casey Bobo have a common past since they both attended Dartmouth College, where their paths first intersected. Jake’s family sports background includes his grandparents and aunts, in addition to his parents. David Hagerman, his maternal grandpa, played four seasons of ice hockey at the University of New Hampshire. Similarly, one of his aunts, Jamie Hagerman Phinney, played ice hockey at Harvard. At the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, Italy, she earned a bronze medal with the US hockey team. Kully Hagerman Reardon, his other aunt, excelled in field hockey and lacrosse at Middlebury College. She was instrumental in the NCAA Lacrosse championships. So, the Bobo family has a long and illustrious sporting history, and Jake Bobo is carrying on that lineage with his excellent football career.
