When Will The Acolyte Trailer Release

The Sooner The Better

Star Wars: Emperor Palpatine and The Acolyte.

It’s quite possible that The Acolyte’s first trailer could be released tomorrow, exactly 24 hours from the time of this initial Twitter post. That would mean that Star Wars will likely want to be alert around 12 pm EST/9 am PST. That said, it’s also possible that the trailer could be released earlier in the day or even later on in the evening.

Thankfully, the first look at the High Republic live-action show is confirmed to be closer than ever.

At any rate, it’s going to be very exciting to see The High Republic era finally brought to life outside the books and comics (as well as the Disney Junior animated series Young Jedi Adventures). The recently released synopsis for The Acolyte is also a strong sign for the upcoming show and its promise to explore darkness in an age of light:

“In The Acolyte , an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….”

It’s more than likely that The Acolyte will showcase how the Sith persisted before Palpatine/Darth Sidious as well as how the Jedi Order diminished to be what they were in the prequels. Thankfully, the first look at the High Republic live-action show is confirmed to be closer than ever.
