Everyone is waiting for his birthday and loves it because he is the center of attention. The same can be said for humans and animals. This adorable and sweet seal comes from the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. He is a true example of the happiness of animals on their special day.
Tuljan is very happy and excited about the giant cake that the rescue team brought for his 31st birthday. The cake was beautiful and themed. It has an ice fish on it and the idea of an ice fish on the cake makes the seal happy, playful and very lively.
The seal used to live in the marine park, but unfortunately it was closed. The seal was rescued and again in 1989 a baby seal was released back into the wild.
He was used to people and a lot of the calls were from seals running after people with buckets thinking people were rescuing fish. It was clear he needed care so the RSPCA told the Cornish Seal Sanctuary to give him a home to live in.
Now the seal is 31 years old and very healthy, fit, playful and full of energy. At home, he is loved and cared for by the staff. The photos show him happy and excited.
