I have an optical illusion tattooed on my arm – people don’t understand because they just can’t see it from my view

A WOMAN has tattooed an image of an optical illusion skull on her arm, leaving people scratching their heads at the meaning.

The woman, known only as Leah, posted a video of her impressive tattoo on her TikTok account.

Leah said the image of the skull is from the painting Ambassadors by German-Swiss painter Hans Holbein the Younger.

The woman inscribed the image vertically in what appears to be her right hand.

In the comments section, a fellow TikToker asks Leah if the image “looks like a skull from her (other) perspective.”

Leah replies, “Yeah! And also when you look down your arm, the angle has to be just right!”

Another person said that the tattoo appears to “shoot shit” from the first perspective of the video.

“That’s great, but with all due respect, at first glance it looks like crap,” the person commented.

Another person agreed, saying, “Yeah, I agree with you, it’s a cool concept, but you can also have a skull that looks like a skull from multiple angles.”

Meanwhile, a third TikToker was a fan of the tattoo, saying people will be “stunned” when they learn the meaning.

“Who cares how it looks to others + when they ask you what it is and you show them they’ll be shocked,” the person commented.

SCHOOL BUS OPTICAL ILLUSION

The latest optical illusion craze has taken the internet by storm, sparking debate among viewers as they try to decipher the enigmatic image in front of them.

An optical illusion that has been surprising people lately involves an image of two buses.

In this image, two yellow school buses appear to be going down a winding road.

The bus above appears larger than the one below, which also appears closer to the viewer.

But the buses are actually the same size, even though our brains play tricks on us.

This is a classic example of the Ponzo illusion, coined by the Italian psychologist Mario Ponzo in 1911.

Ponzo suggested that the human mind perceives the size of an object based on its background, even in flat images.

He illustrated this by drawing two identical lines on a converging pair of lines, similar to railroad tracks.

The top line appears longer because it appears to be further away.

Therefore, our mind believes that the end result must be smaller.

Therefore, our mind believes that the end result must be smaller.

In reality, the two lines are the same size, but because of the surrounding background, the mind perceives them as being of different lengths.

This is the same kind of science used by the optical illusion showing buses.
