Terrence Howard has decided to retire permanently after a brief hiatus. He confirmed this in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying,
“I asked Sidney Poitier if he wanted to do anything else 10 years ago, and he said, ‘Why should I waste the last 10 years imitating myself?’ That’s where I come in.”
Terrence thought about retiring from acting for a while after her role in Empire. He said he couldn’t pretend to work anymore, and actress Vivica A. Fox suggested he take a year or more off to spend quality time with his family.
