Floor Jansen, the lead singer of Nightwish, has announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. In a message to her followers, Jansen revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer more than two weeks ago and that she will be undergoing surgery to remove the tumor.
The singer wrote about her situation:
“My outlook is excellent. It appears to be a non-invasive and non-spreading melanoma. I keep my breasts. And I will be cancer-free after this surgery, nor radiation therapy. spot treatment three months later, hopefully.”
She added that she “will know more by following the procedure to see if this favorable prognosis is maintained.”
“Cancer is a scary concept. Everything you valued in life before this diagnosis disappeared in an instant. Now all I want is to get well again. I want to live and see my daughter grow up.” become a lady!”

Jansen floor fans flocked to Twitter to show their support for the singer. Some fans hope she will recover quickly and said she will return to normal, as she previously recovered from Covid. The Jansen floor advises women to get mammograms.
In her message, the female singer advised her sisters to go for regular health check-ups. Jansen also said she will return to the cruise if everything goes according to plan. She speaks,
“The scariest aspect of this diagnosis was that I believed I was healthy!” I didn’t feel cancer and didn’t realize it existed until I had a routine mammogram at the age of 40. Which many countries offer, even for free, to the lucky ones.”
Jansen goes on to say that mammograms are a “lifesaver” and that every man should encourage the women in his life to get tested.
“Mammography can save your life!” That’s annoying, and you might believe you’ll have nothing in the chest anyway but GO!” She stated. “And to the men reading this, remind your wives, girlfriends, moms and sisters to get checked out.” Even without the free mammogram perks I have as a Westerner: GO!”
She ended her letter on a positive note, adding,
“If all goes according to plan, I will be ready for the NIGHTWISH European tour starting November 20!” I am also optimistic because the odds are good for me! I promise to take care of myself. I’ll hang up for a while to focus on myself.”
