As for Fae, she said that she was honored to appear in the campaign. “I hope this campaign shows trans girls that they can dream big and change the world,” she added before declaring: “I’m not going anywhere. I am not silent. I will always stand up for women and girls, cis and trans.”
“Fostering an international campaign to boycott a chocolate company was definitely not on my list of predictions for 2023,” he joked.
Following the controversy, the Hershey Company also issued a statement: “We value unity and recognize the strength created by diversity. For the past three years, our Women’s History Month program has been an inclusive celebration of women and their influence.”
