Emeli Sande is officially engaged to Yoana Karemova, his girlfriend. Sande confirmed the engagement with an Instagram photo of her ring, where she wrote:
“I said yes!”
Emile shared two more photos on her Instagram Story, one of which features Yoana. Sande was previously married to marine scientist Adam Gouraguine, whom she divorced in 2014.
Yoana Karemova, the fiancee of Emeli Sanda, is a pianist who often performs on Bulgarian national radio and television.
Yoana Karemova is a famous pianist who has recently played solo at various concerts in Europe. The Bulgarians started playing the piano at the age of 5 and gave their first solo concert at the age of 11. She studied with Anton Dikov at the Sofia State Academy of Music and Penelope Roskell at Trinity College of Music in London. Yoana also collaborates with famous pianists such as Idil Biret, Vera Gornostaeva, Peter Katin, Boris Bloch, Vladimir Kainev and others.
In 1995, she took first place at the international Virtuosi of Piano competition in the Czech Republic, and in 1998 she took first place at the Carlo Soliva international competition in Italy. Karemova went on to win first and third places at several international competitions over the next few years.
The pianist is a regular performer on Bulgarian national radio and television. She received a diploma from the mayor of Sofia for her outstanding achievements outside of Bulgaria, and since 2004 she is an artist based in London. She has given many solo performances, as well as chamber performances, and will soon participate in European and international competitions. Yoana is currently working on a new album that will be released before the end of 2022. Previously, she has recorded compositions by Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin and Beethoven. Despite being a celebrity, she doesn’t have a Wikipedia page, so specifics about her upbringing, family, and education are unknown.

Relationship between Emeli Sanda and Yoana Karemova
While it’s not certain how they met, Emeli Sande confirmed her relationship with Yoan Karemova in a March 2022 interview with Metro. Sande continued:
“We met because of the music.” And I’m happier than ever. Wonderful. To me, true love and the love of your life will get everything right.”
In July, Emeli Sande shared a photo of herself with Yoan and talked about their friendship in the comments. The pair also celebrated the creation of their first joint track, and Sande describes working with Karemova as a wonderful experience and a privilege. Emeli Sande debuted in March 2022 and released a music video for her song There Is Not Many, featuring LGBTQ+ dancers. She explained what the song was about.
“Everything I think I want is meaningless unless I have the right people to share it with.”
The 35-year-old became famous after appearing in Chipmunk’s song Diamond Rings. Her first song, Heave, was released in August 2011, followed by her first album, Our Event Edition, the following year.
