CORONATION Street star Sue Cleaver has revealed that she was rushed to hospital and ended up in intensive care after a “terrible year.”
It came as the 59-year-old actress opened up on weight loss while appearing as a Loose Women panellist on today’s show.

Sue, who could be seen in a yellow and black patterned top on the show, slammed rumours that she’s been using weight loss gummies to shed weight.
The Eileen Grimshaw star first started losing weight after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2011, and admitted she’s lost weight again this year but not due to gummies or diets.
Sue then confessed on the show that she ended up in intensive care this year, and also had a hysterectomy.
She said: “I’ve had a really bad year. I had a hysterectomy in March and then a few weeks ago I ended up in A&E and I don’t need to go into the details but it was a scary, scary time.
“I had surgery and ended up in intensive care.”
Sue continued: “So there is no diet and there are no gummies, and I am incensed that people pray on people’s vulnerabilities and use our name.”
Sue posted her video on gummies recently and revealed she was sharing it after
being falsely linked to diet products.
She said: “I’m really, really sad that I have to actually make this video.
“I’ve had quite a lot of messages over the last couple of weeks asking me about Keto gummies.
“There’s obviously some scam going around saying that I lost weight using Keto gummies… well it’s cr*p. It’s a scam. And if you’ve been taken in by it I’m so, so sorry. It’s outrageous.”
She added: “I just want you to know that I would never, ever advocate anything like that.”
