Best in Dough brings together pizza enthusiasts from all walks of life to compete in making pizzas with unusual flavors and pizza styles for a chance to win $10,000. The first three episodes of Best in Dough will be available on Hulu on Monday, September 19 at 12:01 AM ET, and the next three episodes will be available on the same platform next Monday, September 26. The final episode will be available on Hulu on October 3 at 12:01 AM ET.
Adam Wells, former Bachelor contestant and pizza lover will host. Chef Daniele Uditi will serve as the show’s head chef, while judges will include chef Millie Peartree, culinary influencer Eunji Kim, and baker Bryan Ford.
Best in dough contests, pizza challenges and more
In each episode of Finest in Dough, three contestants with the same experience, profession, or years try to bake the best pizzas to win $10,000 and the title of Best in Dough. Adam Wells, the host, will take participants through two rounds of intense challenges. Tasks, as shown in the trailer, can range from not using dough to making pizza or pizza cookies. Each mission will challenge participants to create great pizza combinations with many different flavors.
The first three episodes of Best in Dough, which premieres September 19, will pit Nonnas (Italian grandmother), social media influencers, and pit masters against each other. The next three episodes will follow the fierce pizza making wars between local pizzerias in the United States, global pizza chefs, and college students.
Three mother-daughter teams consisting of three chefs from Mexico, Japan and Brazil, three chefs from the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland and Detroit) and three top chefs will compete to create the best pizza in the world. the last four episodes of the show.
Who is Wells Adams, host of Best in Dough?
Wells Adams, a professional radio DJ from Monterey, California, was born in 1984. Wells was on season 12 of The Bachelorette, but was eliminated after going head-to-head with Joelle Fletcher in the sixth week. He then joined Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, but was dropped following his divorce from Ashley Iaconetti. In the fourth season, he took over Jorge Moreno as the hotel’s bartender, a position he held for four seasons.
Since 2017, Wells Adams has been dating Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland. The couple proposed in 2019 and plan to get married in August 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, they postponed their plans and got married on August 20, 2022.
Wells said in an interview with People:
“I can honestly say that I have never been happier or gained as much weight as I did while working for Best in Dough. Host is an absolutely amazing job! In a world where no one can agree on anything, we can all agree on one thing: pizza is the best and this show is a giant paradise.”
Adams also starred in GMA3: Strahan, Sara and Keke, as well as The Kendall K. & Friends Show. He hosts the podcast ‘Your Favorite Thing with Wells & Brandi’, which he co-hosts with Brandi Cyrus.
