Aquaman’s updated gold outfit looks perfect in the photos, and while the outfit may look similar to the original movie version, there are some notable differences between the two.

Aquaman and the Lost KingdomThe updated gold costume features many new elements and differs from the original version of Momoa’s first solo movie as a hero. For example, Aquaman’s new gold costume features different types of gloves and the original set features multiple spiked finger guards, while the new version of Aquaman’s classic manga suit has only three.
Additionally, the new suit features an updated chest patch, designed with a square chest instead of the original round one. Aquaman and the Lost KingdomThe gold skin also contains shoulder pieces that are separate from the armor’s chains – seen in Momoa’s test skin Neptunesharers @TaurooAldebaran — it was a departure from the more linearly consistent style of the original film. This change makes the updated suit even more appealing.
The updated gold skin also gives Aquaman five armor plates on the side of each thigh, instead of the four in the original suit. The material of the thighs and parts of the suit is also different, and parts of the new Aquaman skin do not have hexagonal scales. Finally, the spikes on the boots and forearm armor of the updated Aquaman suit are also significantly weakened. All in all, the change to Momoa’s gold costume is interesting and it adds to the anticipation of its presence in the film. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
