Annabel Vartanian met her future husband Andrew Jeffries as a child on Fishers Island, Southold, New York. The two then reconnected as adults during a ferry trip one weekend. So, fast-forwarding to years of dating, on September 21, 2013, Annabel and Andrew tied the knot right where they first met: Fishers Island.
Looking back on their wedding, Annabel said: “I always wanted to get married on my front lawn in a big top.” And luckily, her dream came true. Also, there were several vendors at the ceremony who made a special effort to come to the island. Special shuttles were even arranged for them and their supplies, and a new entrance to the property was made by cutting an opening through the privet hedge.
After exchanging vows at St. John’s Church, the duo attended Annabel’s parents’ reception this summer. The newlyweds then went on their honeymoon to Paris and the Maldives before returning to their normal lives in New York.
Surprisingly, reports mention that Annabe and Andrew returned to their summer residence on Fishers Island on the day of the wedding.
