The actor’s agency, FN Entertainment, responded to the casting news, saying that the actor has accepted the opportunity to star in the upcoming drama Golden Spoon.
Ahn Bo-hyun will play Jin Yi-soo, a third-generation corporation that embarks on an expedition to catch wanted criminals. The corporation decides to cooperate with the police to find untouchable targets.

In the upcoming drama Golden Spoon, Jin Yi-soo, Ahn Bo’s character hyun, joins the staff of the Kangha Police Department.
If Yuma’s Cells actor Ahn Bo-hyun takes the role, he will play Jin Yi-soo, a man who has everything in life. He never needs help from others because he is a third generation corporation. However, things start to change when he gets involved in the case. Jin Yi-soo will have to join the investigation unit of the Kangha Police Station that specializes in catching thieves. After being appointed to the Kangha police station, he begins to deal with the arrest of corrupt and government-supported criminals.
There is no official confirmation from the producers on how and when filming will begin, and no release date has been set. The actor is busy with many of his films and if he accepts the casting offer, this will be his next work after the upcoming fantasy film See You in My 19th Life.
He’s also working on other projects, including his upcoming comedy and romance 2 O’Clock, in which he’ll be teaming up with Girl’s Generation’s Yoon. Actors such as Joo Hyun-young and Go Geon-han joined Ahn Bo-hyun. In 2022, the actor also appeared in many other works. In the series Military Prosecutor Doberman and Yuma’s Cell 1, he played the main role. He also made a rare guest appearance in Yumi’s Cells Season 2 and the provocative TV series Adamas. The actor has also participated in variety shows such as Backpacker Chef and Young Actors’ Retreat.
