Much has been made about Jake Paul and his relationship with Instagram model and influencer, Julia Rose. Despite their intense on-and-off relationship, the couple managed to stick together despite some difficult times. However, it now appears as though the two have parted ways for good.
Recently, Jake took to his socials to confirm the rumors of him dating someone else. Taking to Instagram and Twitter, Paul wrote, “I’m Dutch now” revealing his new girlfriend Jutta Leerdam. Notably, Leerdam is a Dutch speed skater and has won numerous accolades throughout her skating career.
While the post by Paul was met with negative responses, Julia had her own update to give. Seemingly, Julia is more affected by the breakup than Jake and wants ‘some space’ to figure things out. Taking to Instagram, Julia Rose shared a poem, speaking about her thoughts and feelings after the breakup. “I couldn’t sleep so I wrote this piece about needing some space, I think it might be one of my favorites.”
Previously, Jake and Julia have had their fallouts with the most recent one being in 2022. At the time, Jake allegedly hooked up with Instagram models Sky Bri and Richelle Knupps in a ploy to win back Julia. Thereafter the two reunited before splitting up once again, just before Jake’s fight against Tommy Fury. As such, it appears that the two will be moving in different directions in the future.
Why did Jake Paul break up with Julia Rose?
Previously, when Paul and Rose parted ways in 2022, Rose accused the boxer of cheating. As such, Julia also hit out publicly stating, “@realskybri @emilysalch either of you wanna come claim him since you’re so eager to post him? Prime example of why I broke up with him. Feel free to post more sh*t to make me feel better about my decision.” Although the two were eventually able to patch things up, it has been a rocky road ever since.
As mentioned previously, Jake and Julia have had their differences on numerous occasions. Ahead of Jake’s fight against Anderson Silva, the boxer reportedly ‘kicked Julia’ out of training camp to be more focused on the fight. Despite this, Julia was very supportive of Jake ahead of what was his biggest fight at the time, which he would go on to win by a close decision.
However, there was more trouble in paradise ahead of The Problem Child‘s next fight against Tommy Fury. By this time, Rose and Paul had worked their way back to each other and even started appearing on a podcast together. Unfortunately, Julia seemed to be at her wits’ end, stating her frustration with Paul and his boxing career. Due to Jake being so caught up with boxing and his other ventures, it would leave little to no time for his relationship with Julia.
Thus, Julia’s outburst suggested that there was trouble in paradise for a while now. Even from the outside looking in, the writing was on the wall and it seems that the two likely separated before to Jake’s loss to Tommy Fury in February.
