A Miami police department spokesperson said: “We know that there was a physical altercation between them before he was stabbed.”
In response to her arrest, her lawyer, Frank Prieto, issued a statement to the Miami Herald, a local newspaper.
According to The Sun, Prieto told the newspaper: “I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged.
“We look forward to clearing her name in court.”
